Where is God when I need him the most?๐Ÿ˜”

So you’ve been praying the best you can and you have even been fasting: for the job, for deliverance from addictions and bondages, for healing, for your sister to get saved, but it seems like no change is happening. I have been there, all Christians have been there, even major characters in the Bible have been there, Job, Daniel, Abraham, Sarah… I could name an endless list. I want you to know that your prayers do not fall on deaf ears in fact the Angel of the Lord said, as children of God, our prayers are heard on the same hour on which we pray

“Do not be afraid Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your prayers were heard….”

Daniel 10:12 HOLY BIBLE

I want to remind you for a start that your prayers have been heard. I repeat myself, your prayers have been heard…say it until you come to believe it, ‘MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN HEARD’.
There are lists of reasons why we do not see the results of our prayers exactly at the time we might want to see them. It could be the result of spiritual warfare Daniel:10-13, It could be timing Isaiah 60:22, It could be an assignment (assignment is a sweet word for TEST! ๐Ÿ˜), Job 1:9-12 , states that God allowed Satan to test if Job would still worship God if he lost everything he had given him. God also tested Abraham Genesis 22:2 to see if he would sacrifice the only son he had in obedience to God. Sometimes we have to face it, we ask for with wrong motives or even for wrong things from God, James 4:3. All of these reasons are good to be known so we can track our parcels from heaven or understand why things are not going our way.

These reasons are the ‘why‘ it is essential for us believers to grow the spiritual fruit of PATIENCE Galatians 5:22-23. Patience goes in hand with trusting God, do you know who God is?

… [b]ecause anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

HEBREWS 11:6 NIV

Daniel knew that his God exists and he answers, so he continued on fasting 21 days until his message was delivered. Job said,
         โ€œNaked I came from my motherโ€™s womb,
And naked I shall return there.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away.
Blessed be the name of the LORD.โ€

Trying times are the times when we apply our FAITH, they are times to show the mountain before us that we know him, we have seen him do A B C D for us, even if we walk in the shadow of death, even if it feels like he is far and silent… I have his word that said he will never leave me nor forsake me… I have a word that says he is a rewarder of those who seek him.

30. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;

31. But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall soar on wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary they will walk and not be faint.

ISAIAH 40: 30-31

If you feel weary pray for strength to go on once more, if your hard times have shown you that you lack the spiritual fruit of patience ask God for it. Soaring like eagles is ONLY for those who wait, coming forth as gold is for those who wait in the fire…God is near during your tough times more than you can imagine, and whatever it is you trust him for, it is on its way.

Comment below, ask for prayer, pray for the Holy Spirit to grow me so we can have more in this blog…. I love you guys!

  1. Very interesting read.
And agree with your view point, I dont think God is never there he is always there we just forget.

Israel had the same issue, as I study and mediate, i struggle to comprehend why Israel forgot, i mean you would think crossing a sea would remove doubt that there is a God , your God, yet they always forgot and preferred to Go back to slavery.

God is always there, we as humans forget that he has come through before.

    Nice piece

  2. It’s the timing of this piece for me! Thank you so much Nxobile๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
& I’ve also learnt that the process of prayer pushes us to be in close proximity to the Lord and the closer we are ,the better we hear Him. Then ultimately our focus shifts from the prayer request itself,to Him as our Father…for He is the main treasure we are pursuing.

  3. Very well written. Jesus did say โ€œTherefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.โ€ God knows what’s in our hearts before we even approach Him to ask about it and He has already answered our prayers. We only have one job, and that is to believe and have faith.

  4. Many of us are focused on results and not necessarily reflect on the process that really build us to become what we truly are. Rather we want prayers to be answered in a blinking eye and we still reminded that we receive not bc we ask amiss and that patience still bares fruits. Praying fervently and to study the Word of the spirit brings us closer to our porter. Thanks for the blog. It’s a necessary read

    1. You are right, every believer goes through this face and it’s amazing how to God it is not about the treasure, but all about who we become during the process ๐Ÿ’– I shall share this on my social media if you don’t mind โค๏ธ

  5. That’s very true. And without that understanding that God has our back and is hearing us everytime we pray, it’s so easy to get discouraged and at time even to quit. To give in when people say negative things about out God. But once we become more patient and faithful even in times of hardships, God will work miracles which even naysayers will come to believe in his existence and miracles.

    Thanks for sharing.

    This is good ๐Ÿ˜

    1. Indeed Dear being a believer is more about growing spiritually than growing in earthly possessions. We should never let what is around us distract us from the real price, that is… making it to heaven ๐Ÿ™ thanks so much for being here dear
